We focus all of our attention on the student and we concentrate on people who have little to no experience with shooting firearms. For the entry level student, it is our pleasure to make your shooting experience not only instructional but also low stress and fun!
Our specialized, professional instruction has been developed from the experiences of a tactical career in law enforcement. There is an understanding proper tactics forged with excellent instruction could be the difference between life and death. We live and breathe the warrior mindset. We want to surpass your expectations with training and impart to you the importance of living a trained and prepared lifestyle.
We will cater the training to the needs of each student and our primary courses of instruction include: NC Concealed Carry Handgun Training and NRA Basic Pistol Course. The NC Concealed Carry Handgun Training course is what you need to obtain a certificate to get a “carry concealed permit.” We are proud to serve the Piedmont - Guilford County to include Greensboro, Burlington and surrounding areas.
Topics which are covered in that course are:
- Legal Issues
- Handgun Safety
- Marksmanship Fundamentals
- Carry Concealed safety Issues
- Presentation Techniques
- Cleaning and Maintenance
- Proficiency Drills
For the CCH course, there is a mandated 8 hours of classroom in which you will have a lecture, PowerPoint presentations, practical exercises and also a written test. We will then have the practical shooting proficiency drills in which you must place at least 21 of 30 shots on a silhouette style target from the 3,5 and 7 yard line. There will also be a shooting skills practice exercise prior to the mandatory proficiency drill. (Plan on bringing enough ammunition to pass this proficiency drill, at least 50 rounds.)
To register, simply go to the schedule find the class that fits your needs and then click on the forms tab to download a registration form which will be sent to us and will hold your spot on the course.
For any course we require the following:
NC Driver’s License is required to take any course we offer – If we do not know who you are and cannot prove who you are we reserve the right to turn anyone away at the door. Please bring your NC issued Driver’s license with you on the day of the course. Once you are registered you will be notified as to where the classroom portion of the training will be held.
